Are you talking about leaving curls in your line laying on the water? Nothng wrong with that in helping get a better drift. Coils in my leader coming from the reel, I straighten that up before...

Tippet ring = saving money. Eventually your leader will get too short and have to be replaced from changing flies and adding tippet. Furled leader has no coil memory but at the same time all you have...

Maybe somehow you got the end of the tippet that was first put on the spool. Pulling it under pressure under all the other wraps might curly q it. Does it come off the spool easy or hard?

Got to be something in your technique, a furled leader is somethinng you control. You could always go back to a mono or fluoro leader.

Never used it on flies, what I did use it on had a white tint to it after I sprayed it and it dried. It works but will wear off in time.
