I love this fly- to me- its an easier, less messy, more natural version of scott sanchez's double bunny.

all it is "stacked" marabou- looks like 4 stacks on the back hook, 4 stacks on the front...

I dont think it is that difficult, and I just started doing epoxy work on my flies.

I also use devcon, it dries crystal clear and you have a good 5 minutes to work with it.

the pack i featured has integrated waist belt, that tuck away when in use on the chest. its the best of both worlds. it also triples as a sling, although i think those are pretty useless.

eh...i haven't fished dry flies with them, only streamers and nymphs. Between multiple objects hitting the water, i'm not really concerned, and haven't personally seen a noticeable "spray" of water...

I really recommend the Simms Headwaters Chest/Hip convertible pack. I bought it for just under 80, they go as low as 60 though.

i throw junk in streams and ponds with a 5wt. I don't think you need an 8wt rod to throw 1/o 2/0 etc.

I like furled leaders, with about 1-3 feet *depends on butt section length, or a heavy mono...
