Re: Nice BC steelhead video.

It's actually sort of the same with me. I probably would have ended up in Alaska or B.C. if there was a way to make the Canada thing happen but the girlfriend would never go for it, too far from...

Re: Just Heaard This on 6:00 News, Oil Spill Yellowstone River;

He really should have kept it's head in the water but judging from the water pouring off it he had just lifted it.

I'm going to give him a pass..he will no doubt be relieved to hear...

Re: Just Heaard This on 6:00 News, Oil Spill Yellowstone River;

Hey man, seriously.

I was planning on going this last fall and then just didn't make it happen. All the talk of First Nations closing the rivers kind of sapped my desire to keep track of whether...

And I didn't say that there were any that did.

I'm speaking to a significant number of people in this country who do think exactly what I wrote. There is a whole political mindset that embraces...

Re: Just Heaard This on 6:00 News, Oil Spill Yellowstone River;

I hear what you are saying but there are solutions for that as well. It wouldn't take much of a barrier to protect it.

And yeah, given the area it's in I can pretty much guarantee some idiots...

Re: Just Heaard This on 6:00 News, Oil Spill Yellowstone River;

It really is simple.
That people accept this as just being part of what it takes to provide oil to the country just blows me away.

Pipelines aren't terribly complicated and they can be designed...

Re: Just Heaard This on 6:00 News, Oil Spill Yellowstone River;

This is the second pipeline spill into the Yellowstone in the last 4 years.

That's TWICE in four years. This is simply unacceptable. Period.

One of the issues surrounding this is that the...

Re: Just Heaard This on 6:00 News, Oil Spill Yellowstone River;

That's just great.

We just had one in 2011 near Laurel. This one is apparently upstream of Glendive.

Re: Ideal Switch Rod for Trout

Re: Hardy Zenith, I have to ask...

Yeah, I know it's just weird.
I'm a strong guy and all that but I'm not King Kong gripping a fly rod.

I can't believe I'm the only one this would happen to and TWICE!

Hardy Zenith, I have to ask...

I have a 6wt Zenith.
After about a year of limited use, mainly hoppers, salmon flies and smallmouth poppers and divers the cork split around one of the rings all the way around the rod and you could...

Re: HUGE rainbow trout! I do mean HUGE!!

You know, with all due respect, I don't think that the "eye set" thing is quite so definitive with a fish that is obviously still alive.

I've noticed with bull trout especially that they typically...
