Fished it two weeks ago. Great midge hatch in the morning and evening. Fishing was best underneath with pt nymph. Landed a few, lost a few you know how it goes. Should be back up in the next week or...

Didymo, its an invasive algae. Too early to know the effects but its tough to nymph at times. Hopefully it wont spread but that seems unlikely.

I agree the North Branch is my favorite of the fourm, its also the biggest water. You might want to take a five weight, there are some pigs in there.

That upper section is fantastic when there are no people there. I try to get up there once or twice a week from NOVA but I tend to get up early and leave Centreville by 5:30 or so to miss...
