I am very lucky that my father choose British Columbia in 1956, my home waters are rivers, ocean and lakes, love fly fishing but I will use whatever works best given the situation....

Trust me, there is no road to get the north end of Lake, what you are seeing on google is logging roads, the hatchery has been closed for about 5 years. The lodge is located at 7km, there is a bridge...

Sorry but you won't be able to access the Pitt River without boat. The Upper Pitt River drains the back side of Whistler area( Garibaldy Mtn Range)into Pitt Lake, the lake is about 14 miles long then...

Your timing is perfect, September and early October are best for Vancouver Island Rivers, the Stamp river would be my first choice, also Cowichan river is good for salmon and brown trout. Guides that...
