Congrats on the new rig. I`ve been on the spey thing here in Wy for the last three years and I got to say its well worth getting into...The best advice I can give is to learn and pratice spey casting...

Your gonna need a bigger reel too. Not only for the extra capacity but to balance the rod. If you want to spey cast and use flies of any real size you`ll be way better off with a line made for spey...

Been hammer`in them all year so far on the swing but when the bit gets real slow I`ll turn to nymphin. Not real different than SH tecnique wise but the advantage of spey casting cant be put in words...
