Re: Wyoming outlawed it!

I have no firsthand knowledge of this because I don't fish eggs but my understanding is that egg patterns with the hook attached tend to be swallowed deeper and you end up with gut-hooked fish and...

Re: Float Fishing Colorado/Wyoming

Definitely do your research as there are a few things to consider, the first being whether a raft or a drift boat would better suit you. I spent months researching a raft before finally deciding Id...

Re: WTB: New/Used Float Tube

Are you specifically looking for a float tube or are you open to a personal pontoon. I have a Water Skeeter River Tamer that I dont use anymore. Shipping may be kind of expensive though.

Re: North Platte in Casper

Had a buddy in town over the weekend and spent a couple days floating Grey Reef. We had an incredible time and caught a lot of fish on streamers. Nothing huge but a bunch of real healthy fish. With a...

Re: North Platte in Casper

Any chance you'd be willing to divulge roughly where in town you fished? I've been doing some exploring of the river through the middle of town and was wondering if it's even worth fishing. It...

Re: St. Croix Legend Ultra ?

I don't know that I would call the 7'9" 3 fast action. I love mine for small stream fishing and have no issues with it at close range.

Re: St. Croix Legend Ultra ?

The 7'9" three weight legend elite is a very nice rod. Very lightweight and sensitive yet can cast a surprising amount of line.

Upper Salmon in April?

I'm curious what the upper Salmon River around Stanley is like in April. I would like to try for a steelhead but don't want to battle crowds. Does it get crowded or is it relatively peaceful?

Re: Andros Island guide

I actually ended up going fishing with Bradley for two days. Great guide. Incredible eyes and always knew where to go to find fish. I'll definitely fish with him when I make it back to Andros.

Re: Andros Island guide

It looks like Mangrove Cay isn't accessible from where I'll be staying on Andros. I believe where I'll be is referred to as North Andros.

Re: Montana bull trout

That's something I'm entertaining but I think I'm going to look into Idaho also. From what I can tell there isn't any widespread restriction on pursuing them in Idaho.
