Carrying On Flies For Saltwater Trip

Anyone carried flies on board a plane lately. Larger size flies...2/0.

Just wondering...we intend on going on a cruise and carry on everything to save money. Any help is appriciated.

When I lived in Colorado I went 4 or 5 years in a row. Great show...good place to learn a lot about fly fishing and fly tying. Plus, an excellent opportunity to pick up some really good deals on fly...

I have probably spent 50 days a year in the park...and even getting into Bowman Lake is sketchy in early May!! But, if you hike the south east part, you might have better luck. Fly wise, those fish...

My klinkhammer style i was talking about is on a scud hook. I usually use a Dai-riki 125 thru about size 14, then switch to a 135 for anything smaller, 16, 18 or 20's. Gives it a pretty agressive...

I would agree on the parshall area as good....but I would also think about the Blue. There are some huge browns up by the dam...and it is an hour from you.

I lived in Frisco for 12 years and dont remember April being a big month for flows. When they ramp up the discharge, it usually does not cloud the river very much near the dam because it is a bottom...
