Re: Taylor Fly Fishing

Before they build rods I hope they get their reel inventory in place. It's been months they've been out of some colors. I gave up. Hope they fix the situation and enjoy success because the...

Re: Am I over thinking this?

If it pleases you then fish with it. That is all that matters. I sometimes fish with a Kineya reel on a Berkley fiberglass rod. Have fun!

Re: Fly tying bobbins.

I am fond of the S&M Bobbin. If I was to give away all of my other ones I would replace them with the S&M. It is so easy to adjust thread pressure and the grip in hand is just right.

Re: Backing

Thumbs up Re: 1wt rod, am I crazy?

Re: Vom Hoffe Fly Reel Reproductions.

Re: You can skip the idea of fly fishing on the Rogue for another week or so ...

the silt will be well distributed shortly

a dam was removed on the Calapooia and "experts" claimed it would be years for the silt to clear and that it would be a catastrophe downstream. The dam...

there are sufficient fast, ultra fast, really fast, super fast, and just plain fast rods on the market so it is nice to see graphite in a more moderate version. I fish mostly fiberglass but enjoy...

You'd be hard pressed to find a better made reel. I own a 301a, a 701, and a chrome Cavous. The reels are impeccably made.

Re: Pebble Mine - Perhaps We've Made a Difference
