Leader is 9' 5x, I just bought some 7.5' 5x, tippet is either 5x or 6x.

Do think I should go down to a 4x leader?

One more thing about the casting. It seems to do better when I have quite a bit...

Well I couldn't remember so I pulled up my order from two years ago and I could have swore it was Rio WF4F but it seems it is Sage Performance Taper 4WF.

Dang! That's the exact spot I fished about two weeks ago and I didn't catch anything that big. :( I caught a few bows but the biggest was about 1.5lbs maybe. Nice fish!

Nice setups!!!! I too just got the CT 8'6" but i got the 4wt and put the same reel on it. Can't wait for this weekend to go try it out on the river. :D:D:D
