Urban lakes have been stocked. Started off the season right, 1 fish 20", 3 fish 18" and a few in the 12-14 range. Going back/different lake tomorrow.

I've never had an issue with the width if the spools being an issue. My guru 4.0 is very wide and i have had it out into backing a few times. reeling it back in never was an issue with line pickup....

I know this creek, my hunting property is across the road from it. I never manage more then 2 trout a trip out of it. Then again, I have never fished it outside of mid Feburary either.

Most of my Sage rods are too good to pass up. They are all bought new, most for 50-65% off. Couple of my bags/sling packs have been like that. bought an Orvis guide pack for 80 instead of 140 this...

Looks more like Bennett Spring to me. Just down stream of the bridge. There are some good sized browns in that stretch of river.

Thats the one big hatch we get here, and I never catch them on tricos. I toss out a small caddis thats maybe a size or two bigger then the tricos. Either drift or skate it under the water surface and...

I would stick with the 1492 on that rod. I have a heavier machined aluminum reel on my 7' bamboo rod and it balances it out pretty good. That being said, its a fairly heavy reel and the rod isnt...

I'll shot some starlings for you if you really want em. There's no season, limit or way you cant kill them here. The 12g in a corn field will punch holes of sky out of the flocks that come down here....

Yeah my carp usually do that too. Its just a thing they do, attention is drawn to an area and the other fish are just interested in what the caught fish is doing.

this Echo 3S(altwater) rod I got in March or April this year. It has been fished maybe 2-3 times for no more then 6 hours total. Rod is in near perfect...

if you can go after the extra 30 bucks it is for the Trout II reel, id definitely go with them. I have a couple and they work great.

Big water, Taney, Norfork of the White, The White, The 11 point, Current eventually picks up some speed, but thats for trout. ;) If you want really big water we can go to the Mississippi or Missouri...
