Backing question

Bought a new reel it's specs say 80 yards of 20 lbs backing with a 4 wt line.
If I go with 100 yards of 20 lbs and a 3wt line, will it be to much or should I just stick with 80?

I think that's one of my main problems I have to...

I think that's one of my main problems I have to work on with fly fishing....I go to fast.
I can't feel the fly as well as I did a lure, so I can't get a feel on how to work it or what's it...
