so i have another new Allen Trout reel that i will be setting up for subsurface only. mainly for fishing the spring run white bass with clousers. 95% of the time i'm wading and the pools i will cast...

thats what i consider the "brookie" of sunfish....the longear redbreast. they are fighters arent they?! great job on a beautiful fish!

yeah i have a stiffer 6wt. i use all the time that throws big #2 clousers. think i would take it. ive watched several videos and it looks like you can spot them and get in their territory with a fly...

Bingo!! Same sort of story for me! Im in the middle of bass country and love it but these bluegill,rock bass, and redbreast sunfish are my favorite!!
