I agree with this summation completely and would add one simple thing. You can always turn a RAW image into a JPEG, but you can't turn a JPEG into a RAW file.

I can't tell you how many fish I've seen with obvious finger and thumb prints on them that have turned to fungal infections. Also fish who's tails have rotted off because of people handling them with...

No problem Dave. Oddly enough no image stabilization system work well when panning with a moving subject, therefore, IS should be turned off when panning. Some cameras automatically turn off IS when...

You are misinformed about Nikon having in body VR (vibration reduction). The image stabilization in both Canon and Nikon is in the lens. Panasonic also has in lens IS (image stabilization). Both VR...
