Re: Favorite emerger patterns

Okay, I'll "bite" ;) Two of my favorites are two that I came up with. One is the KG's EPF PMD Emerger, and the other is KG's Spring Creek PMD Emerger. Both work well. The Spring Creek fly is a...

Re: Tying Schollmeyer's Parasol Emerger

Len, that is where I originally tested the setup on the Provo River in Utah. I had such great success with it there that I moved on to the Green River with equal success.

I just fished my...

Re: Need Nymph Hook Suggestions

I've got one more suggestion for you - DaiRiki 125 emerger hook. I use it on most of my nymphs, dries and emergers and love the wider gape and curved shank. It is a shorter hook than the one Silver...

Re: Rainbow Trout Pics

While I'm not Joni I think I can respond to this. I use the non-slip mono loop knot regularly on most of my offerings both dry and nymph regardless of the size. In fact, I prefer the knot on small...

Re: "Fishie-fishie in the Brook...' How many of them are there?

Great article. Brett High and I are good friends and fish together often. He is a very dedicated biologist and strives to improve the fisheries for all to enjoy.

Re: What's your scary fly fishing incident?
