Im not sure were we at exactly i will have to get back to you on that but Mckinley rings a bell.But I know we were staying in glennie and drove 45 min to fish.

This past May, I had an oppertunity to fish the Ausable for the first time. A buddy invited me and my Dad to his cabin for a few days of fishing,and float trip. What a awesome place it was, caught...

Thoughts on Rio indicator line for steelhead

Its time to replace my 8wt line and was looking into this line due to all the nymphing we due in Ohio for steelies. Any thoughts or info will be helpfull!!

Buddies 1st steel

Took a buddy from work out for his first steel and time fly fishing, taught him the basic 10 & 2 cast on off he went. He landed 2 nice bucks out of 4, and I went 2 for 3, not a bad...

Looks alot better Ant good tie!!! Use that as you main fly and add a small egg, or suckerspawn as a dropper about 12-18'' above your stonefly and you will be set for winter/spring steelies.

It dont look to bad, i think that I would add a gold bead head on it. Stones work very well for steelies I couldnt tell you how many ive caught on them,good luck!!!!

The pontoon was cool very stable and easy to fish from, it would be nice to have one here. I was using my 9wt with shooting line and sink tips throwing egg leeches and similar type...

Had a great time fishing the cowlitz, we did a 4hr float trip from Blue creek Hatchery to the new boat ramp next to my wifes uncles house. We didnt have any luck, but it was still worth every moment...

I bought the SLV 7/8 reel for steelhead and it landed alot without any trouble,now my dads using it for steelies. So great buy you should realy like it and land plenty of fish...
