Any tips for Hamilton county NY?

I will be camping with my family at forked lake the first week of July, it's the first lake that the raquette river goes to, between raquette lake and long lake. I haven't found much info on fishing...

I have done the river trail hike to thousand island lake out of agnew meadows about 5 or 6 times. You'll love it. Don't overlook garnet lake, it's the best of the bunch on that hike, with excellent...

And a Lamson/konic 2 reel. Tried the Reddington, Echo, Orvis, & Sage. Liked all of them, but I seemed to have better aim with the TFO pro,...

I guess by entry level, I meant those "get started fly fishing" packages that are all-inclusive but not particularly high in quality. I had a pfluger 8' 5wt which is now a 7.5' after my lady...
