Bigjim I would love that link and I guess the good thing about my location is there's a heavy population of ice fisherman so spring summer have it based for fly and then for fall lots of musky...

Haha I know what you mean haha we have a gander mountain which is about the only place to buy tying materials and they have a decent selection of neon colored stuff for bass/pike/ and streamers but...

Northern wisconsin the trout season is closed after september 30th and opens back up first saturday in march for early season so barbless only single hooks and c&r. And then in may harvest comes out...

So my z-axis came in today and my allen reel is on order! thanks to all who aided in my decision for the allen reel! The sage is a 9 foot 3wt and its absolutly gorgeous cannot wait for early trout...

Ya it will be mostly used on smaller streams but also on lakes and rivers when my five weights are just not workin so id like it to be nine feet but i love longer rods idk i have a 14 ul spinning rod...
