I live in Fargo. I don't think there will be anything open at all. Maybe the ottertail but I'm not sure what is legal. Maybe just rough fish.

Climax Pike Leader...Directions

I bought a pike leader today. It looks like its 8' of 20# mono and 15" of wire. In the pack were little black plastic tubes with one around the wire end forming a loop.

Thanks guys. The fly was just a little deer hair popper. It was actually the first deer hair popper i tied. It had the head sort of like a dahlberg diver but just a few grizzly feathers for a tail...

You'll have a blast. I'd say the earlier in the season the better. We've gone up the last couple years middle of june and the bugs haven't been bad and the fishing good. Don't count on no bugs...
