I live in Bozeman.
A 5 or 6wt will work just fine for most fishing in the area. I can cast a long ways but honestly, I don't think I have ever actually tried to figure out how far I can cast. ...

Re: I can't get enough!

I was originally going to title it "Another Boring GoPro Video of Some Guy Catching a Steelhead" but it seemed a little long.

It's a Sage One 6126 with a Hardy Taupo.

I originally had a...

Here's another crappy GoPro video of someone catching a steelhead.

The someone is me.
This was/is my first attempt at filming and slightly editing a video and uploading it to Vimeo.

Actually, yeah, sort of.

The Missouri water temp. was around 48 F yesterday, definitely on the drop though. If it's not windy it's noticeably warmer near the water.

I may try to hit it this...

I have a G4 that I've had for four years now. Maybe five.
It...

I tend to think of the north woods states, Minnesota in particular as being a kinder, gentler place. Strong Scandinavian heritage, strong protestant work ethic.
The farms are clean and well kept....

Re: Two Hander or not......

I will say if you are throwing a skagit or a scandi and are shooting about 2 rod lengths...
