That's my point so many use the same tippet on 5-6 wt as I do on light rods . anyway thanks more thoughts

why do so many think they tire out fish and you cant land them properly? 6or7 x tippet brakes at the same point on any rod and a short 2or3 wt rod can turn a good fish just fine. I can break more...

I want some one to tell me why it takes longer to land a fish on a 2or 3 wt than a 5 6 or 7? 5 6 or 7 x tippet all break at the same point and I can turn a fih with a short light rod just fine!!!

I have found for my style of fishing the best set up I have fished. Winston 7ft 3wt WT . A Galvan Brookie 0 reel, SA textured trout 3wt line. this is by far my favorite set up. my next best is 7ft...

I have since my last post fallen in love with a 7' 3wt WT. Find it to be my go to rod almost every time I fish. all of mine are 3 year or newer Winston rods, still out of all rods I own I like my WT's

My take I use the same size tippet 7X and 6X on all my rods. Takes no longer to get a fish in on light tackle. that tippet breaks easily on any set up. fish fights the same 2wt or 5wt
