All the creeks that feed the Kill Van Kull are loaded witb monster Blue Claws. Unfortunately the water conditions there now are terrible and I won't even kayak it, nevermind harvest crabs out of it...

Yup, I remember going out with my father and uncle. We would come home and has epic fishfrys . They're all but gone now. Nobody even targets them anymore here.

Awesome tie, I learned it last time I was down there but tied larger for Snook. We fish a fly up here called the Albie Hore (not spelled that way but I had to get past the censors).

Replacing the whole tip top. The rings do comr out from time to time or get damaged. If you epoxy the rod tip into the tube you will most likely break the tip when trying to remove it.
