That was a great post I think it's also worth mentioning that Broken Trail (a movie amc made that is excellent) has a scene where Robert DuVall is fly fishing on the snake river.

My bad freeze my parents and brother ride horses, and realize what's right and whats wrong. There are just some people who ride horses that think they are the only outdoor past time out there.

I don't know about gas and oil, but on certain agricultural products we export more than enough to feed america, and buy what we need to replace what we have sold. I guess if we can turn a little...

What we need is a gas consumers union, a co-op for refining fuel. The people would get the crude, then refine it, and sell it less than the oil companies.

gas is 2.45 in evansville. How is it that gas companies are posting record profits when they claim to be selling us gas at a rate comparable to what it takes to refine it?

I've been fishing for bass, pike, etc. for a while. I was wondering what the range of hook sizes were you could tie a dry fly on, while using a 5 wt. rod, while fishing for trout.

thanks, but can you explain to me how you join two lines with the perfection loop? I have only seen it in line to lure connections. Do you pass the other line through the loop and repeat the process...

Does anybody know what is the best knot for connecting flourocarbon to fly line? I've heard the seaguar knot or the albright. What really is best?
