Hope Loomis continues using matte grey blanks; personally I have never liked "painted" blanks like the Trilogy etc.

Interesting comment about the 4wt. IMX. It and the 6wt are my favorites, in 8.5 or 9 ft lengths.Suggest you try casting a 5wt line on your 4wt.
