well.....i guess i'll try my 6wt OBS and my 6wt intermediate Streamertip lines. i talked to the boys at Schultz Outfitters today. they are warmwater guys too and they said they all fish and own...

Very true.....but there's one twist, a close friend is also selling a very slightly used (as in 3 outings) for $150...9' model with fighting butt. So many rods so little cash!

Epics are definitely faster than BH. The Epic 686 is THE rod for streamers/glass. My favorite all around Epic would be the 476. But BH has that soft full flex action. So hard to pick ur poison:)

for me, the gen 2 Blue Halo 5wt is the perfect 4wt in my hands. they are definitely full flexing rods. i would say it would be hard to turn over bass bugs or decent size streamers BUT they will soon...

yes! i loved the action of the echo but the cork seat and grip on all i held were full of filler( which is expected to a degree for the price point) and ugly! so i had woronco custom rods turn a grip...
