Thanks for all the feedback!! I have a winston biiix 9' 7 wt and really like it just looking for another rod in 6 wt to add to the arsenal for strreamer browns and smallmouth bass.

Correct me if I'm wrong so these rods would have been a winston blank right before they started making the WT series rods and putting the WT marking on the rod? Just seeing if anybody can help clear...

I have a chance to test cast a decent amount. I was just trying to see what everyone likes and has put a great amount of time on the water with rods doing this type of fishing. I've never cast the...

I'm talking about size 4-1 articulated flies with lead eyes for big browns. Most of the time tied pretty bulky.

Winston pre IM6 9' 3wt not sure what I have

I think I have a pre IM6 9' 3wt but not totally sure. The serial number is 2974 and it just says 9' 3 and how many ounces it is. Can somebody help me out with some info on this rod and also what type...

Mine is a dark red and says legend series in black writing. Ive never fished with it yet but it seems nice. A little faster than some of my other rods.

I recently acquired a st. croix legend series 7' 9" 3/4 weight fly rod. I think its an older model rod. Does anybody know anything about this rod? There's no serial number and the model number is...
