I'm needing a reel for my 3wt CT and really like the TR-1 from Abel. I've always been taught to spend more for the rod than the reel. I think I spent 150 on the rod so am I crazy for putting a $300...

I wear my submariner every day. Whether duck hunting, fishing or work it keeps great time and looks great in the process. I get it polished every year or so to help with the scratches.

My wife bought me a Rolex Submariner for a wedding gift some years back. It's on my wrist every day whether I'm working or fishing. She didn't buy it for me to look at.

Thanks for the input, I've got a 9ft 5wt Z-Axis that I use on bigger tail waters here in Arkansas. I've also had times where fishing my 8 wt just is too much. I just don't want to be under equipped....
