I tied up one of these a couple days ago and went out to try on a local river and I ended up landing the biggest trout i've caught on a fly rod so a big thank you for this pattern!!!!!!

I've been thinking about taking a ride up there for the day. I use to fish it when I was a younger rooster tails always seemed to do the job. But, it has been many many years since I've been there....

Hey Nick yes they are both from the mokelumne, I've been having luck with a griffiths gnat. My buddy said he hooked into about a 24" out there the otherday with a diving caddis but it broke his line....
