Re: It's not an NFO...

Re: It's not an NFO...

Canoes have their place like any water craft and sure are nice for big water but a lot of the places we fish, these will be perfect. With a canoe, if the wind is in Liz's favor it is a PITA for me...

Re: Lamson Konic 1.5 or 2 on TFO Rod

2 for sure. I use a Guru 2 on my 8' 4w TFO and it is a good match. The 1.5 will be too light especially for a 9' 5wt.

Re: What have you been tying today?

Before I even read the post, I immediately thought "Cape Cod" when I saw the picture. If he doesn't catch, it definitely isn't a problem with the flies.

Re: warmwater pics

VERY nice fish! We planned on targeting smallmouth for the first time on with the long rods this weekend but water levels in PA and NY look like that may not get to happen.

Re: Planted Fish... Really!

It is how I got started. However, after I learned of the native brookies I quickly became infatuated with them. Here, our natives are rarely over 6" which just doesn't cut it for most people. In...

Re: Fellow's 15 year kept bugging Dad to let her row the drift boat for the first tim

Sounds like something I would do even if I was an experienced oarsman. "Woah! Comin' through! Watch it! " As I do circles down the river past the wading fishermen. I figure they will either get...

Re: RIO or Scientific Anglers

For us, RIO is number one and Airflo is number two for a couple specific lines. Neither of us with ever put another SA line on our reels. Not only because we don't like the lines, but we don't care...

Re: GoPro or Point & Shoot

Gopros are good for first person point of view shots but in my opinion lack at everything else. If I had to choose, I would definitely keep my AW100 over the gopro. In fact, we are picking up a...

Re: Swift River Massachusetts

The dirt road will bring you up to the road the hatchery is on. There is a small lot on the left right before it turns in to the dirt road, where the turnaround for that street is.

Re: Swift River Massachusetts

There is a small lot at the end of that dead end where it turns in to the dirt access road for the hatchery. I park in that small lot, didn't know there was one closer to the pump house.

Re: Longevity of waders

I am on my second pair, first one didn't last 6 months. The replacements although the same size are a tighter fit and seem to be showing signs of wear much quicker than the first pair. The first...
