2. Will it have a sealed drag?
3. or anything about the strength of the finish....

Re: is Simms insane?

I know there are many that love Simms gear. I am one of them. However, I agree that some of their gear has been priced "well" beyond what I personally would ever be willing to pay.

Re: First time attempt

Here's one more idea for you to try with your woolly buggers...

Consider adding two strips of Flashabou on each side of the tail. This will give your Woolly bugger a little flash like that of a...

Re: Zenith 9' #5 Line Choice

Re: Zenith 9' #5 Line Choice

SA Trout taper (the textured or Sharkwave versions), Rio Gold. I find that I like the more true to weight lines on mine versus a heavy line like the SA GPX. Yes, Gold is heavier than the SA Trout,...

Re: Hardy Wraith Review

I did a search and came up with this. It's not much info. It does look like the Zenith, I mean Zephrus is sticking around, but in new colors with an expanded lineup. It will be interesting to see if...

I really like what Fishpond and Umpqua have done with their new slings! I've been considering replacing an old Orvis Guide sling with something from one of these two companies.
