This is one of the finest little reels I have ever held. I was able to fix this up to a short little 4 weight. plenty of backing shortened the line a little all fits well. such a joy to cast. will...

Is this a current pic of the 2 3/4 size reel this looks to me to not have an adjustment knob and spindle area is not recessed. this is the only pic I can find of the 2 3/4...

I like smaller reels. Ross Evolution LT 0 or Hardy Featherweight for a Orvis 7ft 4wt superfine rod. what do you think? both will hold plenty of line and backing for what I do and where I fish.

Was able to try both weights. like the feel of the 4wt the best. and man does it lay out a dry fly.
