I am not sure if you have ever heard of Manleys Pliers, but they are $30-$40 , and dependable. A lot of the serious northeast striper fishermen use them. They are the only fishing pliers I will use...

I have a ten foot 6 wt St Croix. Imperial ( St Croix' most recent version of the. Imperial )that I find versatile in the salt sometimes and just a verstile all around rod, wondering if anybody else...

As a northerner I always read about permit, tarpon, bones...the snook is not mentioned nearly as often, but what I have read about them , sounds like NE striper techniques woukd work on them at night.

Anybody here use currents and the natural pulse of the fly to fish....in other words not stripping the line in ....more like what the dry fly guys would call " real" fly fishing?
