I had a feeling someone was going to mention that.... bummer.... then it looks like regular fishing in that part of the river but for the trout we'll need to venture up into the regulated zones.......

Most assuredly!!! I specifically chose a section of the river well south of the regulated zones. It this area, game wardens have informed me that few trout are found (for what reason I am not sure...

just a note... usually with the clouser if the hook is down it's designed for freshwater and if the hook is up it's designed for saltwater.... having said that, I tie and use whatever I feel most...

about that whip finisher.... it's good to learn to use the tool but it's also good to learn how to do it by hand.... it's not difficult at all and once I learned it, I hardly ever use my whip...
