Route Advice Sought.....

I live in Nebraska. I would get off interstate 80. Take hwy 275 to hwy 20 into Wyoming. Much better terrain. Most of it is 65 miles per hour.
Plus some small trout streams around Fort Robinson...

Silver Carp are the ones everyone is worried about. They are the ones that jump when spooked. There are some good videos on YouTube about people shooting them with arrows.

First attempt for carp this year.

I hit my spot for grass carp. It appears a little early yet. I only saw one grass carp and 4 commons. I saw a bunch of these though and caught two.

My goal for 2013 is completed!

I caught my very first grass carp ever, actually 2 of them. I was using my 8wt setup and hand tied flies that resembled aquatic vegetation.
