I have the B2x 5wt, B3x 5 & 6wt, all 9ft. I prefer the 6wt; its my favorite rod.
I also have the Loomis NRX LP 5wt 9ft but prefer the above Winston 6wt.

I use SA GPX 6wt; 6wt Gold is fine also. My reel is a Bauer CPX 2. My wife has a 5wt in that rod and using 5wt Gold with a Guru 1.5 reel.

For whatever its worth, having many rods in the 5 or 6wt 9ft bracket, the 6wt 9ft Winston B3X is the best rod I have ever trout fished with.
