Rumor has it so does TFO, hence the TFO billed as the same weight as the Hardy and Loomis.

Lol...very true.

Whats the average fly line length..85-90 feet? Thats what i consider a bomb. If you can cast the whole line...its a bomb...wish i could!

x3 Good casting rod and nice price but hardley a Winston by any stretch. There are others on the market now that are better in the same price range imo.

Im with Mr. Cooper on this one. What makes you think the tapers arnt as good or that the same ammount of thought didnt go into the disign? Seems to me some of the best caster in the industry played...

I carry a handgun with me everywhere i go. If someone sees me...im armed. This is for two legged predators however. The .38s and 9mm's i carry for protection would not faze a bear, moose, cougar...

I have a size 3.5 and i really like it. It has the same drag as my litespeed and it works just as well. Best buy in the world of reels without a doubt.

Yes you can. You wont catch anything...but you can. Try Dynamite...less obtrusive to the trout and more effective!

Count me in with the group that ties the standard cinch. I also tie my tippet on with a surgeons knot. I always break off between the cinch and sergons...good proof of quality knots.

Waders, boots, rod,reel,line,leaders,flys...thats it! When i started i carried a lot...now i carry almost nothing. One box, two tippet spools, and a multi tool. All thats needed for trout fishing!...
