The Buck's Bags Pontoon is by far your best bet. The other boat is really low end and is a department store version of the real thing. You can't go wrong for a hundred dollars on the Buck's Bags...

KENT,
I use a reel with 2 extra spools. I use a floater, a full sink (fast) and a clear intermediate. These 3 lines can be adapted to pretty well any situation.

I agree poppers are very effective on bluegill as are foam spiders and gurglers. The "gills" seem to like rubber legs a lot.

With my topwater stuff I seem to be most successful when tossing bugs...

Anyone tried tying a#20 size fly on a #16 or #18 size hook? This would give better hooking and holding qualities than those tiny hooks.
