Its that time when I go out in the surf and catch some bluefish....
I had to tie up some surfcandy and some bobs bangers. they are the only two flies I seem to catch blues on.....

Don't know about fav. pattern. But I do enjoy tying saltwater flies more than dry, wet, or other freshwater flies. It might be that I really enjoy saltwater fishing more even though I fish freshwater...

would have to say panfish. Bluegills, Shellcrackers, crappie, pumpkin seed, and goggle eye/warmouths. Never know which one and on light tackle they are fun.
