IMO The klinkhammer hooks are pretty cool, but I can't recommend them for larger trout. The metal is very soft and they bend easily if you get a bigger fish on.

I've been tying micro streamers on #12 hooks that I can cast easily with the 3wt. This combines my favorite UL setup with my favorite type of fly fishing.
