Re: NAFFF has been SOLD!
Yes, when I initially setup this forum for Steve there was infact a integrated chatroom. In my experience, chat rooms on forum type sites never really catch on.

Re: Sage Fli or Launch~
I have 2 FLi's, a 7ft 3wt 4pc and a 9ft 4wt 4pc. I love them. They are great rods and I picked them up for 125 each. Couldnt be happier.

Re: Sink tip lines
I use to use them all the time in a type II. But I prefer an intermediate or full sink line now.. I seem to get into more fish with a sinking line.

Re: How many flies?
Really depends. I carry many variations of the same fly. For example, I fish a lot with simi-seal leeches and carry numerous colors, sizes, beadhead, non-beadhead, weighted, non-weighted, etc. I have...

Re: Tilapia Tips Needed
We have a butt load of Talapia here in Arizona. They actually stock them. They are a tough critter to catch. I have had luck on small tadpoles and FBHE's..

Re: How far can you cast?
Under perfect conditions I can lay down a cast which leaves the end of the fly line that is connected to my backing within a few inches from my rod tip.
Notice I stated under perfect conditions....

Re: Foam Hoppers
If you have never fished hoppers you don't know what you are missing. Plus, not all hoppers are made of foam. I prefer foam as it floats higher and much longer than hair.

Re: Lightweight, short rod
I recently got a killer deal on a Sage FLi 7' 3wt and I absolutely love it. It is semi fast and really shoots a line!
They are being discontinued from what I hear, so you can get them very cheap.
