yep its mustad 34007 size 2 that ive been bending with pliers, they sometimes snap like twigs. i sometimes even wrap them in my shirt tail and try to bend by hand and they break...

ive started tying my own spoons with the precut templates from creative feathers fly shop. i use their outline of a bent hook to bend my hooks to match, the only problem is ill sometimes break 3 or 4...

they look like great bass flies, as for them being extra heavy duty i have no idea. if you got multiple coats of paint on that popper combined with epoxy i think the body will last forever, id say...

so ive found a place that sells thsoe disco ball motors for $10. should i get a 1 or 3 rpm? i thought 1 rpm would be a little slow but 3 seemed just right, but i have also never done this before....
