Re: Best all around bass rod for rivers?

I fish for bass a bit north of you, in the Great Lakes area. Have often used a 6wt and it has worked fine. But the past couple seasons I've moved to an 8wt. It is very nice for throwing larger...

+1 love my Brodin net. Got it for Christmas last year and have been very happy with it. Personally got a longer handle one to use while wading, find it helps me net the fish a bit further out. This...

Re: good fly fishing setup for someone starting out

+1 pictures - I'd expect an Orvis rod to have info on it like which model as well as what line it 'should' cast in addition to the length. Might read like 905-4; read 9 foot 5 weight 4 piece rod. ...

Sad for the folks involved. I've actually been eyeing the GP reel for back-ups for bass and musky so with the sale jumped on two.

Re: Got my new "Green" Kraken today!
