Re: Birthday trifecta

Don't let the lack of fish stop you Fred, pick a wade friendly place and go on out. I have been out a couple times even the salmon had not arrived and the trout were still way below where I was. I...

Re: What Price... Honor?

That just doesn't seem logical. Really, what kind of 'fishing club' is this? Use caller ID and don't take calls from them especially in the early AM. hours. Make them use voice mail so any further...

Re: What Price... Honor?

Hi Jerry,

Seriously, this is a fishing club not the government. They can't sue you, they can't garnish you, yes the new guy can bad mouth you but considering the source I don't think I'd let that...

Re: Getting started with a switch rod, and I'm clueless.

Hi,

I'm a long ways from CO. but can tell you that one way to see some demo's is to google snap T cast and single Spey cast. Those 2 should be easy with the setup you have. As far as my own...

Re: April in Idaho

Awesome thread Cindy!

The picture of the trout jumping the falls is the best even though it is a P&S snapshot. All of them are great, the muskrat hiding, the nest............. It's been years but...

Re: Bushwacking

On a long march through thick cover and rough terrain I've always kept my rod in the aluminum tube and used it for a walking stick. Of course that leaves you with a tube to deal with but the strategy...

Re: Fishing doubles help...

I read through replies and I don't think anyone pointed to this; I used to fish 2 & 3 nymph rigs. For a double you just use a blood knot. You tie the knot with one really long tag, that one being the...

I know it's an old thread but I'm gonna say it, you are living the dream Cindy! Your posts are part of what keeps us going here. I would have a ball poking around all those willows.

Re: On the defamation of streamer fishing, and our duty to trout.

I've never even considered that possibility and as for guys who don't swing streamers........ Let them go their own way. They are all I use.

Re: Season Opener Trips

What a nice looking stretch of water you had there! My season is about to get going here as we pass mid week and I hope to remember a few pictures too. It sounds like a great day to me.

If you browse the forum more often and start communicating with the active members I think you'll find a bunch of like minded folks posting here. There are also a good number of PA. people who post...

Nice,

Plenty of Hoolie's right now and those are great pictures! They'll take a fly you know ;)

Re: Broke my Fly Rod

Bummer,
