I'll add that I wear a neck gaitor and have the under armour head gear for when its really cold. Throw a couple hand warmers down the back of your shirt too on really cold days. I also have the seal...

I have a 4 and 6, they're medium action. The 5 is a fast action rod. I had the 5 first then decided I wanted a softer action rod. Cabelas had the redingtons ct's for half price so I got the 4 and 6....

They have there place, I use them a lot. The times I might not use an indicator would be up close nymph fishing, tight lining. Adapt to your situation.

Oklahoma, $2.50's-$2.70's. Im still remembering $1.35 before ebola got elected. Driving a truck wasnt a big deal and I have to drive a truck for work. That extra money now pays for gas and insurnce.

Are you talking about leaving curls in your line laying on the water? Nothng wrong with that in helping get a better drift. Coils in my leader coming from the reel, I straighten that up before...

Tippet ring = saving money. Eventually your leader will get too short and have to be replaced from changing flies and adding tippet. Furled leader has no coil memory but at the same time all you have...
