There are a few other places and yes we have our own "steelheads" and we have quite a lot of searun browns, but I've only named the ones in immediate proximity of the LIRR for easy transportation. ...

right off the bat i could tell you, Massapequa Reservoir is directly off the LIRR. Then there is Argyle lake that is also right off the LIRR and holds some trout, LMB, pickerel and carp to flyfish...
