A few years back I tied this stonefly on a hook from one of those South Bend Value packs. I was tying the fly on the Mustad 9575 but the hook lost favor with the suppliers........

At first I pulled the yarn loose with a comb and snipped away with my scissors, later figured I needed a better mix so I got my coffee grinder out and gave it a whirl.
