Cool Effective Bream fly

This weekend I plan on going to my girlfriend's parent's farm pond and fishing for some bluegills/perch/bream

I live in Texas, its HOT, if that matters.

In any case, i want to tie up some flies...

Thanks for the help. Ive actually been using that site for a few weeks now, and its a very good resource. Ive tried a few of the poppers on the site and i havent had any luck.

I'm glad you posted this topic. I live in Texas (Houston) and i fish mostly in small to medium sized ponds for bass/catfish/bluegills. It seems like a lot of fly patterns are designed around the idea...

As it stands now, i do most of my fly fishing at my in-laws ranch. They have a big pond with catfish, bass, and perch. They also live about a 1/4 mile or less (walking distance) from the brazos...
