I love them myself, Hardy Demons are my main reels, the others are my number 5 weights only used now and again.

I have also looked at this and spoke to someone connected with Orvis, most of the parts are made in US and UK, BUT they are assembled in china, i dont know if this is 100% right, any thoughts

I am from the UK and i use baby wipes, i dont know what they are called in the USA, but wipes for a babies bottom, then a very light grade sanding block, comes up a treat

What i do with all my reels is put the fly line on first (front of fly line first) wind it on to end off fly line, then put backing on to fill spool, pull it all of and wind on right way then you...

Hi i dont have a Z-axis, but i do have a 9' #5 xp which i think is much the same, and i have a lamson volicity 2 which i think is perfect and quite cheap, and also a green ltd edition Ross Evolution...
