Just put the Hardy CLS 5000 on my Greys XF2 9foot 5w. I put on line and backing and th balance point is exactly at halfway of the cork grip. I can live with a but heavy rod but it does balance...

I just bought the CLS as I planned on lining it for a few rods. I put 8w wf f on it with 125 yard backing and thought this is going to be heavy for my 5w I'm going to buy. Talked to a few though...

Does the GRXI+ line of rods have a fast or medium fast rating? As well does most of the line of rods take one line heavier like the 5w or not? Read a bit who claim the 5w is actually a better 6w...

Like plenty of others I read the Yellowstone shootout article that said the Greys GRXI+ 5w was a good six weight and should be over lined. Does anyone feel this applies to the rest of the GRXI+...

Ya I got sold on the Hardy feel of the drag and the quality as well as the interchangeable cartilages. The Greys rod well I liked it but was a little unwilling to spend too much until I get back...
