Haven't fished many bamboo rods, but out of the several makers that I have, South Creek Limited...Hands down, no questions asked.

1995 Land Rover Range Rover...sexy, refined, slow, yet surprisingly powerful. Although the Rover is heavy and the circa is not.

8'4" 3wt will do ya just fine in most situations with avg size...

10' 7wt or 11' 6wt switch for me in NE Ohio. Personally, I stay away from the 9' rods bc I like the extra reach when fishing the tribs around here.
